Transmission Power Rate Control for EHD With Temporal and Complete Deaths

چکیده

This paper proposes a continuous-time communication model of an energy harvesting device (EHD) in the scenario that such EHD suffers from temporal death caused by depletion and completion destruction its hardware or software, respectively. The harvested is modeled as continuous fluid process, it arrives continuously varies time. data assumed to be infinite backlog, transmits via wireless channel fluctuates randomly due fading. We reformulate system into equivalent piece-deterministic Markov process (PDMP) based on imbedded discrete-time decision epoch sequence model, then horizon (MDP) built. show existence stationary deterministic optimal transmission power rate (TPR) policy, algorithm for computing TPR policy maximum total expected throughput developed. Finally, numerical examples are provided confirm analytical findings. effects some parameters investigated numerically.
